“New York Stock Exchange”

I started trading FX in 2013 and began dabbling in stocks around 2020. …But I have only occasionally moved funds into my brokerage account since then and have hardly bought anything as of 2023. I am mainly considering buying US stocks, but I missed out on buying during the so-called “Corona Shock” around March 2020, and since then, it has become a downtrend from waiting for a buying opportunity. Nonetheless, I have been buying individual US stocks and bonds little by little.
I have been doing day trading using chart patterns in FX, categorizing myself as a “technical” trader, and I also judge buy and sell based on chart patterns in stocks. For short-term trading, I consider FX day trading, and for me, stocks (and bonds) are for long-term holding purposes only.
Personally, I think that FX is more like hunting while stocks are more like farming.
I plan to continue adding to this page by adding sections in the future, with subtitles that indicate the date and month.
March 2023
As of March 2023, I have only had about three years of experience in making inquiries about buying stocks, but compared to FX, I find that stocks give me a sense of enjoyment similar to growing plants.
While I enjoy looking at charts and trading in FX, it feels like I’m just snatching up the ups and downs of prices, and I feel that I am better suited to selecting investment targets while imagining the future of the company and then watching the seedlings grow after investing. This is especially true considering that I am also a part-time trader. …Well, perhaps the only problem is how to trade.
By the way, compared to FX where I mainly consider trading based on daily charts, I only look at monthly charts for stocks.
Although I also invest in indexes with US stocks and global equity ETFs, I plan to accumulate up to 20%, or at most 30%, of my investment funds and then leave the rest alone. The idea is that it is better than leaving the money in cash.
